Meta has expanded its Teen Accounts safety feature to Facebook and Messenger, following its earlier launch on Instagram. This move, starting in the U.S., U.K., Australia, and Canada, aims to protect users under 16 by limiting contact with strangers, controlling interactions, and promoting healthy screen habits.
Features like restricted messaging, story viewing, and Quiet Mode at night are now enabled by default, with parental controls required for changing settings.
